October 2018 marks my second time to the beautiful, chillax island of Okinawa. This time round, I went with my parents. They have heard and seen about the island and had been wanting to visit the place. So I decided to book flight tickets for us to Okinawa - Jetstar Asia flies directly to Okinawa from Singapore. I thought it would be good to have a relaxing, week-long trip for my recovery since I learned of my heart condition last Dec and had to had an ICD inserted... We took the red-eye and arrived at Naha Airport in Okinawa in the morning of 28 Oct, and then made our way to Okinawa Sun Marina Resort, where we would spend the next 3D2N. The resort is located in Central/West Coast Okinawa. There are many lovely beach resorts dotted along the coast and Sun Marina is one of them. Actually, I had wanted to book Nikko but because its inconvenient location, I decided somewhere where buses ply would be better, considering that we did not drive (but I do recommend that you drive, if possible.). Below are some photos of Sun Marina beach. We also went to Cape Maeda 真栄田 on our first day. Heck, the breeze was really a handful! But it was refreshing. See the foamy waves and the tilted wildflowers (pardon the lack of botany knowledge) in the photo below? So after 3 days of beaching, we went to a few other places:
I shall leave you with more photos from our trip!
